Period Patterns sewing pattern number 58. The pattern is uncut and complete with instructions. These are new patterns from Mediaeval Miscellanea, still in print with copyright 1991. The patterns have superb detail and include historical notes and illustrations.
View I - Fitted doublet with low standing collar, tight sleeves, low waist and straight skirt; modest paned upper stocks with codpiece.
View II - Fitted doublet with high standing collar, tight sleeves gathered at armhole, dipped waist and straight skirt; full paned trunkhose with codpiece.
View III - Fitted doublet with high standing collar, tight sleeves, wings, dipped front, peascod belly, pointed skirt; full paned trunkhose with codpiece.
View IV - Fitted doublet with high standing collar, tight sleeves, wings, dipped front, peascod belly and skirt of tabs; full paned trunkhose with canions and codpiece.
View V - Fitted doublet with high standing collar, full sleeves tapered at wrist, cuffs, dipped front, peascod belly and narrow straight skirt; venetians.
View VI - Fitted doublet with high standing collar, falling band, wings, tight sleeves, cuffs, dipped front, peascod belly and skirt of medium tabs; unpaned trunkhose with canions and codpiece.
View VII - Fitted doublet with high standing collar, tight sleeves, wings, dipped front and skirt of wide tabs; unpaned slops with codpiece.
