Baby's Smocked Layette is fashioned after an antique baby gown that features a little bit of smocking in the front of the gown and smocked sleeves. The neck edge is finished with baby entredeux and trimmed with lace. This pattern has been developed to be pleater compatible yet still keep that old fashioned look.
View 1 is a long daygown with long sleeves. Directions are included for a bias neck and bias bound sleeves.
View 2 has a sweet scalloped hem accented with embroidery.
View 3 is elegant with a lovely lacy hem and a bit of embroidery at the hem. Both dresses have 3/4 length sleeves.
The beautiful ruffled brim smocked bonnet frames baby's face and ties in back, making the size adjustable.
The baby slip has both the long and short length included.
