This apron design was one Cynthia (long time Folkwear fan and employee) made from one her grandmother made and wore daily. Her grandmother drafted the pattern from one offered in a 1900's woman's magazine that was borrowed from her mother. This pattern was such a useful favorite that she continued to make and wear it her entire life.

Whether cooking or baking, tidying the house, hanging out the laundry, gardening or sewing, this apron will make any task a bit more charming. This apron is designed with built in straps that cross over in the back and button at the bib for easy access while providing full coverage. The pocket on the bib is the perfect place to store your eyeglasses, pen, or cellphone. The two oversized patch pockets can be made with her grandmother’s own addition, a “tissue” pocket. The deep patch pockets allow for the perfect place to keep all kinds of things handy as you go about the day’s tasks.
