This casual Jacket from the early 1950s features a clever lapel that is stitched down to form a pocket. The full back is box-pleated into the shoulder yoke and creates a wonderful trapeze silhouette.

The original Jacket is made of black wool with lapels and turned-back cuffs of wide horizontal stripes in black and cream. Folkwear paired the jacket with a slim skirt that tapers to the hem, emphasizing the contrast between top and bottom.
