Indians and Mountain Men wore Leggings and Breechclout for protection against the elements and were first made of leather and later of cloth or blankets. They were often decorated in distinctive Tribal designs and styles.
Included in this pattern are options for a Tapered Leather Legging with fringe options, a Full Cloth Legging with tied side seams (see front cover with breechclout) and Full Leather Leggings along with the Breechclout pattern.
