The Edwardian Bridal Gown captures the essential elements of Edwardian charm: a high neck, puffed sleeves, nipped-in waist, a sumptuously full sweep of skirt, and plenty of lacy detail.

All views feature bodice and hip yokes that flow into long panels in the front, ending at the waist and hem. The bloused bodice gathers softly into the yokes, and a full skirt falls from the hip. The center back opening may be fastened with hooks and eyes, buttons, or a zipper.

View A is simplified and pared down, perfect for the mother of the bride. View B features lace insertion on yokes, sleeves, and skirt (complete instructions are given in Authentic Detailing), a lace collar, and a deep flounce to a floor-length hem. View C includes all the details from View B, plus additional lace insertion on the sleeves, skirt, and flounce, In addition, tiny pintucks cover the bodice and hip yokes, and a dramatic 12"/30.5cm train completes the gown.

While the variety of fine detail makes this gown worthy of heirloom status, it is entirely machine-sewn. Traditional in very sheer white cotton.
